Tim Nelson oversees the Missions Program at MUMC. From supporting a missionary from our own congregation to mission trips to being actively involved in other organizations, this group is strong in offering Jesus love to others.

MUMC supports Aubrey Walsh, formerly a missionary teacher to Accra, Ghana. Now founder and director of OneSeed, a teacher training non-profit organization.
OneSeed Non Profit – OneSeed is dedicated to providing long term, Christ-centered, teacher training for schools in Ghana, West Africa.
Past MissionsThe mission team has taken several mission trips – helping share God’s love through service and friendship.
Through World Vision, a charitable organization, our church sponsors a child. Her name is Rani Uppuluri, a little girl born August 9, 2010 in Premadhara, India. Our monthly support, even helped Rani to be protected from some of the harmful customs of her country. Read Safeguarding Children’s Futures.
UMCOR is an international humanitarian organization, that gives our church an opportunity to give and be a part of rapid disaster response whenever an emergency occurs anywhere in the world.
